1. Can I request a specific stylist?

Yes, you are more than welcome to do so! When you book your appointment, select your preferred stylist.

2. Do I have to come with my hair washed and blow dried?

You have options! Arrive with your hair clean and dry, or book a shampoo and deep condition here. Blow drying your hair isn't required, but could prove useful for longer wear and painless installation.

3. What is your cancellation policy and refund stance?

A non-refundable deposit is required at booking no matter what service type you are booking. At the time of your appointment, the remaining balance for services rendered are to be paid.

4. Is there an age limit for clients?

At Braids of Katy, we maintain a client age limit of five years old due to our focus on serving children in our chairs. If you have additional inquiries regarding our children’s packages, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via email!

5. How do I book an appointment?

All appointments must be booked online here. Click the service you'd like, and pay the deposit when prompted. You'll receive an email confirmation upon completion. We're excited to meet you!

6. Are you open on Sundays?

Yes!

Sunday 9:00am-6:00 pm

7. Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes. Walk-ins are welcomed. However, service is not guaranteed. We encourage you to contact us for timing and availability.

8. Do you sell hair in the salon?

Yes. However, we only sell 1B, 2, and #4 color options.

9. Is my hair long enough to be braided?

You must come in to the salon for a consultation.

10. Do you offer braid take down service?

We only offer this service if we did your braids.
